Name: Vanessa Z. Schneider
Fandom: P.N.03
Gender: Female
Age: 23
Species: Human
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual, possibly leaning more towards women. Vanessa is not the type to waste time in any aspect of her life, as seen in the game when she exhibits little patience with her client's tendency to go into unnecessary detail on things, and prefers to get to the point of things quickly. Thus, one could imagine that she would be far less favorable towards men who didn't know what they were doing when it came to intimate matters and wouldn't want to take the time to play teacher to them.
Origin: The future colonial planet Öde; exact year is unknown
Wiki Entry: http://daisychainrpg.pbwiki.com/Vanessa-Z-Schneider
Fan Soundtrack: TBA

Appearance: Short, light brown hair frames a thin face containing hazel eyes that have, lately, found themselves hidden behind rather high tech sunglasses. Vanessa's body doesn't look particularly strong at first glance, but it is, in truth, that of an athlete's, managing to be extremely toned and powerful without compromising a rather voluptuous figure. While she tends to mostly dress in modest (albeit extremely form-fitting) clothes both on and off duty, if she exposes enough skin, one would absolutely notice the large, highly detailed tattoo of a Vanessa cardui, a Painted Lady butterfly, on the right side of her abdomen.
Her words are also colored with a relatively heavy Russian accent - one that she seems to be forcing, as she tends to sometimes lose it in introspective situations. Why she actively fakes an accent is, thus far, unknown.

Personality: Vanessa is a very serious individual. Aside from the occasional sarcastic crack or two, she seems to be otherwise humorless, preferring to cut to the meat of both conversations and encounters in general immediately. Vanessa is very much focused on the ideas of order and perfection in her life both physically and job-wise, so much so that one might even see her as slightly obsessive compulsive. Her job as a mercenary, a job that demands absolute perfection from her at all times from ever part of her, leaves her with virtually no room for error, and her private time spent rigorously practicing ballet and, to some extent parkour as well, is time devoted to perfecting both her body and the beautiful past time she loves. Her private life revolves around her and her alone with no room made for incompetent others who might muck up her goals and her means of achieving them.
Vanessa's focused mind contains memories of a mother and father who both died when she was very little, murdered by C.A.M.S., the Computer Arms Management System of the small colonial planet Öde, her probable home world. The effects of such an event pushed Vanessa to become self reliant and emotionally icy cold at a very young age, lest she be hurt again by the loss of yet another loved one. Her reluctance to fully open her heart to others, or even take off her sunglasses in the presence of anyone else, stems from that very reason and just so happens to be perfectly masked by her claim that she simply wants nothing to do with imperfect people who would waste her time. It's important to note, though, that Vanessa isn't so much a narcissist as she is just a pessimist and an overly cautious person. Her fear of failure drives her to be the embodiment of perfect, and she refuses to let anyone see exactly how much self-imposed stress she endures to achieve her idea of perfection.

Abilities: Vanessa is an accomplished acrobat and ballerina, just to name a few of her many talents. She can perform death-defying flips, leaps, twists, and all manner of stunts in order to dodge her opponent's projectiles, and when in The Zone, she will never allow herself to be hit. While she doesn't take advantage of the talent often, she is also an adept gunfighter and can hold her own in combination with her athletic prowess if she gets her hands on any kind of firearm.

Weaknesses: The Aegis suit was a bodysuit given to her by her last client that greatly boosted her endurance, upped her physical abilities, heighened her resistance to pain and fatigue, and allowed her to fire lasers, electric bombs, and all manner of electronic attacks at an enemy. Lacking this suit, while she is still very strong, her defenses against being hit are lowered to that of a normally-clothed woman. If she also becomes distracted at all, for instance by an event that left an impression on her or a problem in her mind, she will have a lot of trouble dodging correctly, and her coordination will suffer.

History: Before waking up in the city of Manhattan, Vanessa lived her life as a futuristic mercenary, taking out anyone and anything for the right price. A nameless, faceless client had commissioned Vanessa, one fine otherwise nondescript day, to return to her home world of Öde and destroy the very machines that had both murdered her parents and shaped her destiny. It was a mission that the woman was happy to accept, and the next few days were spent taking out robot after robot, leaving piles of shattered machinery in her wake. However, it was there that Vanessa discovered that she was, in fact, not the original 'Vanessa' at all, but a clone, manufactured and implanted with memories of dead parents killed by the C.A.M.S. by an unknown organization that obviously wanted the C.A.M.S. taken out for good. The body of the original, base woman was found deep in the C.A.M.S. headquarters, nameless and ultimately unable to be salvaged or saved, as the base self destructed mere minutes later with Vanessa barely being able to make it out of the facility with her life.
In the end, Vanessa's very own faceless client turned out to be the second identical clone of that unknown woman found in the C.A.M.S. HQ, going by the name Dominique Z. Schneider. It seemed that Vanessa was the third of them, product number three.
But the entire incident seemed to have no effect on Vanessa, as she either came to terms with her true origin rather quickly or brushed the matter off entirely, completely devoid of any real emotion other than a muted annoyance at that fact that this complicated things a bit. If the event, or any event, didn't have an effect on the here and now of things - and when it all came down to it, it really didn't - Vanessa couldn't care less about it, no matter what the issue might be. So long as it wasn't getting in the way of her life of fighting and ballet, she had no time, thoughts, or tears to spare for it; it is this very rule that Vanessa lives her entire life by.
Unfortunately, upon returning home and resting, she woke up the next day in a bed that was not her own.
Something was up. Was it a new enemy? A return of the C.A.M.S.?
Whatever it was? She can take it.
